Rocco Margiotta: I'm not sponsored by them, so this is my honest opinion...
At Silver State, I ran out of the fuel I brought and had to use some of Branham's Byron's and I was able to lean my top end almost 1 full turn to get it up to temp!

Steve Walters: Yes.... Both my V-Spec, Axe-Rossi Cobra's & X1, I leaned out the HSN 6-8 hours and the LSN 1-2 hours. Temps still in the (average) 230-250 range. Gained 30-1 minute of run time vs the Gen1 Great fuel IMO. 90% of the racers in my area use Byron's and have been for a few years now. Most have converted to the Gen2, and all that I have talk to like it even better. I also use the 11% oil (Race 3000) 30% nitro. Not the 9% oil. I like the little extra oil for the motor. I'm not sponsored so I want to get as much life out of them as possible.

The bottles are sealed too, so buying a case at a time is no problem, and storing them. The day you break open the bottles seal, is the day the aging starts. But if your like me, aging is never a problem....
The only thing I found, was with the new color "Tangerine" leaves a tent of that color inside the motor now. Cleans off easily with denature alcohol. But Gen1 never left any color.....

¡°If you were to describe the ULTIMATE FUEL for today¡¯s racing engines,
the new Gen2 RACE Fuels from Byron Originals would fit
that description perfectly. . .¡±

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a REVOLUTIONARY new car engine lubrication system that will, without question, represent the LARGEST AND GREATEST IMPROVEMENT in R/C car fuels the industry has witnessed in the past 15 to 20 years.
We realize this is a bold statement but we know you will be amazed at what you are about to experience with this new fuel.

Benefits of Byron RACE Gen2 Fuels:
*MORE POWER throughout the entire throttle range.
*Leaner operation for substantially GREATER MILEAGE.
*Consistently COOLER OPERATING TEMPERATURES.
*EASIER, less elusive TUNING.
*ENHANCED FLOWABILITY.
*INCREASED High Pressure Film Strength leaves engine well lubricated following runs and guarantees the same protection you¡¯d expect from higher oil content/lower performance sport fuels.
*INDUCTION SEALED BOTTLE eliminates contamination and keeps fuel fresh until you are ready to use it.
*PROVEN BYRON PLEDGE of Quality and Consistency you've come to expect from the leader in model engine fuels.

Rumors have been afloat during the past 6 months as Byron Team Members and other eval!uators of the new Gen2 Fuels have been turning heads in competition with preproduction blends of Gen2. You and your customers will soon be the benefactors of this new development.

LIFE IS GREAT FOR A BYRON FUEL DEALER!

18 months of R&D, Testing and Eval!uation:
The process that ended up in the development of Gen2 Fuels began nearly 18 months ago with an initial strategy session between one supplier, one industry expert and our own staff. Our goals were lofty. We aimed to increase all aspects of performance and at the same time increase all levels of engine protection. Until the development of the new lubrication package that is the secret to Gen2 success, these two goals did not peacefully co-exist. Lower oil contents were always the answer for increased power and lower oil contents always ended in shorter engine life.

The key to Gen2 is a revolutionary lubrication package. We have incorporated several features that have been proven in full scale racing and the result is a lubrication that finds its way around the engine with less restrictions. The increased flowability of the lubrication package allows the engine to release more power at leaner settings and at the same time lubricate the engine more effectively and efficiently.

Product eval!uation has taken place not only in the US but in the Far East and Europe as well. Original formulas were tested, reformulated, tested, improved, tested and further improved. The final steps were to fully eval!uate the new Gen2 Fuels under the most excruciating race conditions—both on-road and off-road. The products as they are soon being made available, have been praised by our testers and eval!uators. And some of the eval!uators were not using Byron Fuel at the start of the test program but have made the switch since being involved in this program. We offer these products to our dealers and our international distributors with the highest degree of confidence.

¡°I¡¯ve tested the new Gen2 Fuel in a controlled environment. . .what an effect this new fuel will have on the industry!¡±

What fuels are affected?
The entire line of Byron RACE Car Fuels will be replaced by RACE Gen2. The new lubrication package has countless advantages over our present blends from the RTR sport fuels through the racing blends.

Will there be any new fuels introduced?
Previously we had reserved our ProDriver blends with 9% lubrication, for factory drivers only. We did not feel comfortable putting these blends on dealers¡¯ shelves for purchase by the general public. With the greatly increased lubricating qualities of the Gen2 lubrication package, we are now comfortable in making the ProDriver blends available to all dealers and their customers. The ProDriver Gen2 blends are available in 30% nitro, 25% nitro and 16% nitro.

Will any fuels be eliminated?
Our Ready-to-Run fuels have eliminated the need for RACE 1500 with 18% oil. And lack of interest in RACE 1000 with 10% nitro has eliminated this blend from the line.

How do Gen2 Fuels compare in percentages to the current fuels?
Total nitromethane percentages and total lubrication percentages have not changed. RACE 3000 Gen2 will have 30% nitromethane and 11% lubrication, as does the present RACE 3000. The change is the reformulation of the lubrication package itself.

When will Gen2 Fuels be available?
Production is scheduled to begin between November 15, 2007 and December 2007. Dealer shipments of Gen2 Fuels will begin as our inventory of present RACE fuels is replaced by the new Gen2 Fuels.

What do I do with present RACE Fuels in my inventory?
It is recommended the new Gen2 Fuels are not placed on dealers¡¯ shelves until dealer inventory of current RACE Fuels is depleted. We realize there will be a few little bumps in the road in the interim period. But we ask you to remember, there is nothing wrong with the current line of RACE fuels, the new Gen2 Fuels are simply better.

When are you planning to introduce Gen2 to the public?
Our consumer advertising is scheduled to begin with February 2008 issues of the modeling magazines. These issues should hit the newsstands around the end of December. It is hoped you will have moved your inventory of current RACE Fuels by time the general public begins coming into your store asking for the new Gen2 Fuels.

Will the Gen2 Fuel look different?
The new Gen2 Fuels will be orange in color.

How will you help introduce the new Gen2 Fuels to my customers?
Each bottle of Gen2 Fuel will have a large hang tag on the neck calling attention to the new blend and highlighting the numerous benefits of Gen2 Fuels. This will provide point- of-purchase advertising with each bottle in inventory.

Will Gen2 Fuels be higher priced?
We have no plans to change our prices automatically with the introduction of the new Gen2 Fuels. If a price increase is implemented, it will be implemented because of increases in material costs (methanol in particular). Any increase in costs that are implemented around the time of introduction will not be tied to the introduction of the new line.

Will I see any other changes in the Byron Fuel line?
Some of you may have already noticed in recent shipments, that our fuels are now induction sealed to protect against tampering and contamination. We were planning to introduce this feature with the new Gen2 Fuels but saw no reason to delay such benefits once the new equipment was installed.

¡°Do not fear change, for without change progress ceases to exist.¡±—Anonymous

We realize change can be uncomfortable, especially when you take a highly successful product like Byron RACE Fuels and replace it with a new line. In the past several years, we have seen many improvements in r/c hobby products. To our knowledge, technology has stood still in the model engine fuel industry. This is the first wholesale change to be introduced to the modeling public and we say it is about time. Today¡¯s engines need today¡¯s fuels. We are here to assist you in any way possible. It is our business to make your business a success. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
